Nicki performed at last night’s Billboard Music Awards… umm, not our favorite performance but we’ll let you be the judge.
Rihanna lead the pack with a total of 18 nominations at last night’s BMAs. The Barbadian pop singer took home awards for Top Female Artist and Top radio Songs artist. Rihanna thanked her family, friends,and record label acknowledging her country of Barbados.

At last night’s Billboard Music Awards Show Beyoncé was awarded the Billboard Millennium Award which she received from her mother, Tina Knowles and nephew Juelz. The singer also performed her new single, “Run the World (Girls),” off of her upcoming album “4” for the first time on network television on ABC.
Several of Beyonce’s close relatives, famous friends and collaborators — including First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, The Dream, U2′s Bono, Babyface, Stevie Wonder, sister Solange and her son Daniel “Juelz” Smith, Barbra Streisand, Matthew Knowles and Tina Knowles — took part in the Billboard Millennium Award presentation sharing personal messages about the singer’s accomplishments and impact on music.
The backdrop of her performance showed virtual duplicates of the singer on a projection screen as well as an army of 100 back-up dancers moving to the girl-power anthem. A breathless Beyoncé thanked her parents, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, and original group members Letoya Luckett and Latavia Roberson. Beyonce ended her speech by thanking her husband – “I love me some Jay-Z,” she said, as the rap star smiled and nodded and a unanimous “aww” echoed throughout Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Arena.
